All certification classes must be completed by the end of April 2023.  If you are due to recertify this season (2022-2023), you must complete a recertification class by the end of April 2023 to keep your certification active.

The Minnesota Construction Stormwater Permit requires stormwater inspections to occur year-round – even during the winter. The University of Minnesota Erosion and Stormwater Management Certification Program is hosting a one-hour presentation/question and answer session about winter construction stormwater inspections on Monday, January 9^th from 12-1pm.  Learn about the how and why of winter stormwater inspections and get tips and tricks for successfully completing an inspection from MnDOT’s Dwayne Stenlund, MSc, CPESC. Todd Smith, PE, MPCA Stormwater Engineer will also be present to answer questions. The presentation will be recorded and captioned.

The Erosion and Stormwater Management Program Fall Online certification classes are available for registration.

Are you responsible for inspecting storm sewer pipes and responding to complaints? Do you have an NPDES MS4 permit with Illicit Discharge (IDDE) requirements? This online workshop will cover topics on illicit discharge relevant to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency NPDES Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Permit.
